About QGIS Cameroon ¶

We are the official QGIS User Group for Cameroon, a professional community dedicated to promoting open-source geospatial technology, fostering capacity building, and supporting GIS practitioners across the nation.

Our Mission ¶

Our mission is to advance the adoption and effective use of open-source Geographic Information Systems in Cameroon by:

• Fostering collaboration and networking among GIS professionals, academics, and students.
• Promoting knowledge sharing, open data initiatives, and geospatial best practices.
• Supporting the integration of open-source GIS solutions in both public and private sectors.
• Contributing to the global QGIS community by sharing local use cases and innovations.
• Providing structured learning opportunities and mentorship for all skill levels.
